★DJ Bageera first got into music through listening to his mum and dad's varied collection. Brought up on a diet of motown and funk [mum] and deep purple and pink floyd [ dad ]. Once he left school he managed to get himself a set of decks and was mainly playing the harder end of techno and hard-core. Soon a gig at the famous Nosebleed club followed where he played alongside Dj Hixxy under the name Dj Spaceman!. There after the hard-core scene in Scotland Basically died after the demise of the Rezerection and the Fubar and Dj Bageera decided to go back to his roots and started playing dirty house and colourful techno. Around about 2000 Dj Bageera moved to Leeds and was a regular clubber at back to basics and The Orbit where he saw some of the world’s best dj's. After spells doing his own night in Leeds he moved to Edinburgh to study Media technology where he picked up on the whole Ableton mixing production and learned how to make his own music. Having completed remixes for Dj Misjah and created alot of bootlegs and original material he is setting up own label Red October Recordings to complement his dj style of house through techno and everything in between. Recently praised on websites such as The Mixing Bowl www.themixingbowl.org for his mixes he is one of only 3 dj's to win mix of the week(including Sasha) he has continued his deejaying and has created such classic mixes as "Deep Dark ' N Dirty Vol.1 -7 and the hilarious TV Times mixes. Recently Bageera has been working with Africa's finest Dj Colastraw and Leeds best up and coming hip hop outfit The Gipton Removal Firm and also working with various vocalist's from around the globe. Bageera also played Wizard festival in Aberdeenshire to rapturous reviews one saying"1pm in Aberdeenshire was feeling like 1am in Ibiza". In recent month's Bageera has had his Freek single signed to top producer" Angel Stoxx(Toolroom Records )" label Mokilok Records and has his "ranurado" E.P forthcoming on "Little Cube Recordings" from Holland . In 2011 Bageera also has scheduled releases on HMSP music, 5Tonne Recordings, Freitag Limited, Echo Deluxe, Bullet Dodge and 220v Digital. All in all 2010 looks like exploding into 2011 As Bageera says himself “If only tomorrow was today” We look forward to the future of this producer/dj. Nobody does it like he does.
